2009 is a Great Year for a Reunion
I hope everyone in the Vancouver College Community had a great Holiday Season. 2009 is going to be a great year and is sure to be filled with tons of events. Now that the holidays are over it is an excellent time to start thinking of planning a reunion for your graduate class.
The Alumni Association promotes and encourages reunions. It is up to the class itself to organize and execute their own reunions; however, the Alumni Association is willing to do anything we can to help get the reunion off the ground. We have a full class contact list with fairly up to date phone numbers, addresses, and email. We have helped facilitate many reunions and have a listing of VC Alumni owned and operated venues, success stories from previous events, and great ideas for future events.
Reunions are always tons of fun and once the ball gets rolling the event comes together very quickly. Reunions do not have to be for 10 years or 20 years, often they are for any increment. Some grad classes meet every year.
The VC Alumni Assocation has put together an Alumni Reunion Kit that will help you get started. I recommend taking a look at the kit and contact the Reunion Director, Tom Falizewski '74, at 604 612 5603.
