The Richmond Oval Corporation appointed John Mills (4) general manager for the recreation facility. He will oversee the day-to-day operations of the centre, which will officially open to the public in December 2008. For the past two years, he has served as assistant deputy minister, Ministry of Tourism, Sport & the Arts for B.C., with responsibility for sport, recreation and ActNow BC.
Caldwell Partners International has hired Greg Ford (5) as a partner. He previously worked as vice-president Vancouver for David Aplin Recruiting.
Architectural, engineering and planning firm Cannon Design has named Christopher Rowe (6), David Wilkinson (7) and Larry Podhora (8) vice-presidents.
Carey Erickson (9) has been named Touchstone Theatre's new general manager. She was previously theatre services manager at the Granville Island Cultural Society.
