Nixon Back in the Lineup
Laurence Nixon '02 is excited to be playing this weekend. Him and the Univeristy of Saskatchewan Huskies are taking on the Univeristy of Alberta this weekend at home. The Huskies are coming off an embarassing loss at the hands of Simon Fraser 2 weeks ago, followed by a bye week.
Nixon injured his non-throwing arm 3 weeks ago against the Calgary Dinos and was not in the lineup when the team fell to SFU. The bye last week gave Nixon another week of rest before getting back in the game this week. The Huskies are still favoured to go far in the playoffs this year and have their eyes set on the Vanier.
