Huskies Defeat Concordia
The University of Saskatchewan Huskies defeated Concordia on Saturday in their first Pre-Season battle. The game ended Huskies 21, Concordia 13.
Huskies recievers Travis Gorski and Scott McHenry both caught touchdown passes thrown by VC Alumni quarterback Laurence Nixon '05. Nixon threw 17 complete passes in 19 attempts for 241 yards and 2 touchdowns. Not bad considering he only played the first half of the game.
Nixon is looking ahead to his next game on 29 August at home against the Univeristy of Calgary.
